We collect information you provide, information created when you use the service, and limited technical information needed to operate the app.

Your display name, username, profile photo, public posts, and any postal code attached to those posts may be seen by signed-in members. Today posts remain public for the current daily window. Scheduled content may appear in Tomorrow one day before publication. Selected hourly moments may appear in the public Yesterday recap through the following day.

Retained content beyond the public Yesterday window is private to your account according to your selected retention period. Direct messages are available only to conversation participants. Blocking hides a creator from your feeds but does not erase information already exchanged or independently retained by others.

Public posts, related comments, and likes are designed to leave the live feed at the daily reset. A selected hourly recap may remain public during Yesterday. Your private archive and future scheduling window follow the selected 1, 7, 30, or 365-day setting. Physical cleanup runs periodically, so removal may not be instantaneous.

Profile and account records, direct messages, Circle and block records, notification settings, and security records are retained while needed to provide the service or meet legal and safety obligations. Backups and provider logs may remain for a limited period after deletion.

You can permanently delete your account from Profile > Privacy & safety > Delete account in the Android app or signed-in web service. This removes your profile, username, posts, retained timeline, scheduled content, reactions, Circle data, uploaded media, feedback, and authentication account. Your comment, reply, and message text, media, and profile identifiers are erased; an anonymous deletion marker may remain where needed to preserve another person’s conversation thread.

Account deletion cannot be undone and does not cancel a subscription billed by Google Play. Cancel any active subscription separately in Google Play. You may also request deletion by emailing hello@dailysocial.in from the address linked to your account; we may verify your identity.

We disclose information only as needed to operate the service, follow your directions, protect users, or comply with law. Providers process data under their own terms and privacy notices.

Photo/video access is requested only when you choose media. Foreground location permission is optional and is used to derive a postal code for Nearby posts; precise coordinates are not attached to posts. Notification permission is optional. Permissions can be changed in device settings. In the app you can edit your username/photo, change notification preferences, remove Circle members, block or unblock creators, delete individual content, and enable Private Journal Mode.

We use authentication, access rules, expiring content windows, and provider security controls. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Google Cloud, and Expo may process information in countries other than yours under their applicable safeguards.

Today by Daily Social is not directed to children under 13, or under the minimum digital-consent age required where they live. If you believe a child provided personal information without appropriate consent, contact us so we can investigate and delete it.

Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection regarding personal information, and may complain to a data-protection authority. Email hello@dailysocial.in to make a request. Some information may be retained where legally required or necessary to protect the service and its users.
